According to the structure, working atmosphere and temperature of the heating equipment, the correct selection of the surface load of the electric heating element is the key to the service life of the silicon molybdenum rod electric heating element.

Silicon carbon rods are non-metallic electric heating elements. They are made of high-purity green hexagonal silicon carbide as the main raw material and are made by high-temperature recrystallization at 2200℃. The normal use temperature can reach 1450℃. Under reasonable use conditions, they can be used continuously for more than 2000 hours in the air without any protective atmosphere. Suitable for various electric furnaces and kilns.
Silicon molybdenum rods have high oxidation resistance. In high-temperature atmosphere, a dense quartz SIO2 protective layer is generated on the surface of the original to prevent MOSI2 from continuing to oxidize. When the component temperature is greater than 1700 degrees and the SIO2 protective layer with a melting point of 1710 degrees melts, due to the effect of surface tension, SIO2 melts into droplets and loses its protective effect. ,
